Pierre-François Migeotte

Pierre-François Migeotte, MSc, PhD, received his diploma of M.Sc. in Physics from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium, in 1996. He earned the Ph.D. degree in Sciences from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, in 2003.
His doctoral work focused on heart rate variability and adaptation of human physiology to microgravity. In 2007 he worked at the European Space Agency - Mission Science Office in the Human Space Flight directorate. There, he gained experience in the operation of scientific experiments onboard the International Space Station.
Since 2008, he is a researcher at Royal Military Academy of Belgium. His research interests include the adaptation of the cardiovascular and autonomic nervous system to microgravity, artificial gravity, and other extreme environments.
