Vinciane Fontenelle
Vinciane Fontenelle, MHS, received a master in physiotherapy and rehabilitation degree (cum laude) from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in 2003. She has a seven years physiotherapy practice with the main interest in physiotherapy pre- and post partum, and perineal and abdominal re-education and a seven years practice as fitness instructor. She also holds a training in endermology, abdominal gymnastic hypopressive, respiratory physiotherapy, and perineology.
The purpose of her PhD is to study the central mechanisms of mental and physical fatigue and its effects on cognitive function. Her research interests include physical exercise, event-related potentials, cognitive function, mental fatigue and sleep deprivation.
She currently works as a PhD student in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and in Social and Military Sciences at the Royal Military Academy.
